To help your appointment go smoothly, please review the following information:
Arrive early: Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
Parking: Parking is available in the lot across the street from the City Center Building.
Medications: Bring a list of any medications you are currently taking.
Bring a support person:
Please bring an adult who is familiar with your history and can help complete paperwork. This person will need to remain on site during your appointment in case questions arise.
Additional guests:
Please limit extra people to no more than two total, including the support person.
For everyone’s comfort, please do not bring children under age 16 unless they are the individual being examined.
Appointment length: CCPE clients - Testing will generally take 45 minutes to an hour.
If you are having additional testing, plan for up to 2 hours.
If you’re feeling unwell:
If you are sick, please do not come to your appointment.
Call 828-218-9167 to let us know if you are unable to attend.
Arrival at the office: If no one is in the office when you arrive, please wait—someone will be with you shortly.
About disability determinations: Psychologists do not make disability or provide reports directly to clients. All decisions are made by Disability Services.
Late arrivals:
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will need to be canceled. Disability Services will contact you to reschedule.
If you are entering from Cooper St, you will come in under a green awning. Continue on the 1st floor and follow the black and white tiles to the elevator.
Take the elevator to the 4th floor - Suite 427
